Team Chicago Academy-Botafogo defeated Chicago Fire Jrs Red 11 2-1 to claim the NSR Gold Cup title. CFJ went up 1-0 early in the 1st half on a defensive miscue, but Botafogo maintained their composure and staged the come from behind win based on a very strong 2nd half performance.

Darby Moran leveled the game halfway through the 2nd half with a great left-footed strike from 25 yards out, and University of Illinois-bound Meegan Johnston got the game-winner with 2 minutes left on an upper-90 shot from just inside the penalty box.

Team Chicago Academy-Tigers also made the final of the NSR Gold Cup. Kelly Shugh gave them a 1-0 lead halfway through the 1st half, but Eclipse Select West quickly struck back, and when neither team could score through the 2nd half and 2 over-time periods the game was decided in a PK shootout. Unfortunately, Eclipse emerged victorious from the shootout with a 4-3 result, but it was still an impressive performance by the Tigers playing without 3 of their key players.
